Imperial Inn

It’s a nice place to take the kids for the spa, but our room was much too hot at 28 degrees. They hadn’t turned on the AC for cooling, even though it was summer. There was no balcony, just a window, and opening it didn’t help because it was 27 degrees outside. For a 4-star hotel, not having AC available isn’t normal.

The spa hotel deserves its 4-star category. The rooms were clean and spacious, service was really good, and the staff were very friendly. I also enjoyed the restaurant and the breakfast buffet, which had lots of choice. It was a very good stay, and special thanks to the reception team and the manager. I’ll definitely be back. The triple room was excellent, with a big difference in space compared with others I’ve stayed in before. Spa access is a real plus for anyone who enjoys it.

I called to ask about booking a double room. A receptionist who didn’t give her name agreed to hold it while I called back with my final answer within 10 minutes. I called again in under three minutes, but she passed the phone to a colleague, also unnamed, who told me the room was no longer available. At 650 RON a night, I’d expect customer service that follows through on what was promised.
