Casa Zmeilor

We found the room very clean, with two special beds for resting. The courtyard is set up for relaxing and preparing food, and the hosts create a cheerful, engaging atmosphere.

The rooms were extremely dirty and the prices very high. The owner was rude, and seemed to set room prices depending on the tourists' cars. I arrived with my family at 1 pm, booked three rooms, and paid in full ahead of time. After coming back from the beach at 7:30 pm, we couldn't get in. I called the owner, who took 45 minutes to open the door. Then he asked for another 45 RON because we had a 6-year-old child. I accepted and paid without a problem. But when he saw that my wife had our ID card, he started shouting that he couldn't accommodate us and put the whole family out on the street, including our 10-month-old girl and 6-year-old girl, simply because my wife didn't have her ID card. The owner said that the law requires every family member to show an original ID card when staying with children, and that the children must have ID cards too. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. As we left, he threatened to call his friend, the head of the station, if he didn't explain it to us.

The owners were extremely kind, and the rooms were as good as the hotels nearby. We were won over by the price from the start, and the value was far beyond what we expected. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to the baths. We'll definitely come back.

The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Smeu, were kind and fair, good people who take care of the place. We felt very comfortable at Casa Zmeilor Guesthouse and have no complaints. The clean, modern accommodation and the wooden cabins in the garden were lovely places to enjoy coffee, breakfast, or dinner. It was my first time in Tasnad, traveling with my son, Andreas (Baia Mare). All that's left is for us tourists to show each other respect.
