Hotel Torontal

You’ll need transport to reach the city center, since the location isn’t great. The rooms are clean and tidy, though the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors snoring. The staff were very nice, helpful, and responsive to what we needed.

The only things that went well were the clean sheets and the air heater I asked reception for so I wouldn’t freeze overnight. The apartment itself was awful. The floor was dirty, the bathroom smelled of urine, and it was very cold because the radiators were too small for the space and the air conditioning didn’t work. Worst of all was the smell in the rooms. It was like being in the middle of a kitchen, with odors of onion, garlic, salami, and fries. The shower was dirty, the sink clogged, and the bathroom tiles hadn’t been washed.

We all enjoyed our stay, my wife, daughter, and me. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was nice, and the place was comfortable. The price was affordable, and there’s lots of parking.

We booked for the weekend and had just the stay we hoped for. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the staff to the service we received and the rooms. They all did their best to make it a great experience.
