The restaurant is worth trying after breakfast too, the food was delicious, and the waiters were nice. An older waiter even asked my husband if he'd rather have a țuică than that beer, haha. Breakfast itself was good, and the Christmas decorations were lovely. We found the hotel rooms spacious, with modern furniture and great heating. You can set the space heater to 29 C, which was amazing in winter. The staff were helpful, including when my husband and I needed two institutional invoices for the same room.

The hotel is really close to downtown, in an amazing location. We got a great deal, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The whole place felt nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was pretty good. The Nutella pump was a highlight.

Timisoara turned out to be a nice city, and the hotel was a terrific base. It's about 5 minutes from the cathedral in a great location. The recently renovated building feels modern, and my room was a good size, clean, quiet, and well supplied. Breakfast had a decent selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are a few parking spots out front plus plenty of below-ground parking, all free.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location couldn't be better. The Savoy sits in a quiet area within sight of the Orthodox church and city center. My room was very comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

A coworker and I are here for a four-night work trip, each in a separate room. Our company always books the same hotel for employees. This is our second night, and the noise from the next room has made it impossible to sleep, even though it's a weekday. I called and went to reception several times, starting at 2:45 am. More than an hour after my first complaint, the noise was still going nonstop. I asked for help four or five times, but the receptionist's tone seemed annoyed, and she didn't appear willing to fix the problem. Apparently, complaining about noise in a 4 star hotel is worse than making it. If you're traveling for work, this place isn't for you.
