Casa de Vacanta Predeal

The owner is very friendly and helpful. There’s a big dining room and kitchen for organizing party activities, plus a great outdoor area with a BBQ and hot tub. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with TVs and en-suite bathrooms. A lovely, peaceful place for a family gathering.

I like having a quiet place to stay with parking, and somewhere I can do activities if I feel like it. CVP has that, and it’s close to Braşov and places in Braşov and Covasna counties, with restaurants, coffee in the old center, and skiing nearby. Predeal resort is another option for skiing. If you fly into Bucharest, frequent vans run to Brasov day and night along the same road as CVP, and trains leave Bucharest Train Station (Gara de Nord) for Brasov every hour. There’s also Ghimbav Airport in Brasov, which makes getting to CVP easy, though it’s best to plan ahead. The setting feels different in every season, with wild nature all around the “big beautiful home,” as I call it. I always feel like I’m coming home. The family who runs it is welcoming, attentive, and speaks many foreign languages, which is a big plus for visitors from abroad and others too. It’s cosy and beautiful. I could say a lot more, but I hope this gives families, friends, and couples an idea of why CVP is such a good choice.

The open space, fresh air, and views were lovely, but the train could be heard several times a day. The owner or administrator was very rude, especially to the girls. We were a fairly large group and booked the whole place for two nights, then half of it for the third. I’ve stayed in many places and never encountered staff this rude. The two stars are for the surrounding nature alone. I wouldn’t come back.

The scenery was amazing, the food was great, and the rooms were comfortable. Service went above and beyond. Highly recommended!
