The owner was very kind and helpful, though the included breakfast was average. Our rooms were clean but nothing special. They were at the top of the house under a roof with a strange layout and little space to move around. One room had no air conditioning, and in the other it was oddly placed. It's a decent place that does the job, but it probably won't be the highlight of your trip.

If I'm in Tulcea again, I'd definitely stay here. The owners are why I'd return: such a polite, cheerful, good family, and we really liked them. I think the two men were brothers. They helped us a lot with our documents, then found a bus leaving in ten minutes and drove us to it in their own car. I enjoyed talking with them so much that, if I knew their full names, I'd even follow them on social media 😁

The family who runs this simple pension were among the friendliest and most helpful people we met. They arranged a boat tour on the Danube for the next day, and the owner drove us there and picked us up afterward. We also parked easily in one of the spaces in front when we arrived by car. It's a little outside Tulcea city center, about a 15-minute walk, and right next to Eroilor monument. That monument is worth seeing and has a nice view over the city. The pension has what you need, including air conditioning in the rooms, which was a big plus on the very hot day we stayed. I highly recommend it!

The rooms are tiny, and there was no soap in the bathrooms. Wi-Fi didn't work on our floor; it only worked on the first floor, and the signal there was bad. Breakfast was exactly two eggs, bread, one small butter, one small jam, and one coffee or tea. When we asked for extra butter, they brought exactly one more small piece :). It's clearly a very cheap place. I don't know the cost of the stay, since we were part of an organized group. It's a place just for passing through.
