The yard is spacious, and the guesthouse has everything you need. Being right on the canal means there can be a lot of boat traffic, which gets annoying at times. It's fine if you're there to fish or take photos from a boat, but I wouldn't recommend it for families with children.

It's a beautiful spot right beside the canal, and the price is very good. Just know that you're fully reliant on a boat and quite isolated. They rent out a motorboat if you know how to handle one. I took off a star because the phone and internet signal are very weak, and there's no Wi-Fi. That's hard to accept these days.

The biggest drawback was the canal traffic: it could get busy in front of the house, especially with all the activity on weekends. One weekend, a nearby guesthouse also had music blasting, with people shouting manele. Still, we had a wonderful week. The house had all the facilities and utilities we needed, and we caught plenty of fish. Mr. Larion handled transport to and from the property and the boat trips. He was attentive, knowledgeable, prompt and funny, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the place.

The bathroom water smells really bad, and the boatman is a looter mate! I don't recommend this place.
