We even got to spend an evening by an open fire, listening to fishermen's stories while a huge cauldron of crayfish boiled. What an incredible atmosphere. The food is amazing, and the setting is idyllic, with great conditions all around.

The fish soup is a must try, it's one of a kind! There's a restaurant and bar where you can eat and buy water or beer. The people are friendly, and the manager clearly loves the Delta and can point you toward the nicest places. He can also arrange boat trips for you and your group. It's a great base for exploring the beautiful Danube Delta. The houses give you plenty of space, plus a kitchenette and a front porch. Just remember that you can only get there by boat when packing.

A lovely spot in the heart of the Delta, with high-standard accommodation, beautiful trips, a peaceful green garden and helpful staff. A swimming pool would be a very welcome addition.
