Tinu's mountain trips are a must, especially if you want that quiet mountain feeling. He's wonderful, energetic, and positive :) The place is a great way to experience Romanian traditional crafts, hospitality, and proper food. We'll be back soon! P.S. Our 15-year-old son loved it too ;)

The hiking trips were mesmerizing, and we had a great holiday at Pensiunea Somesana. Our room had a beautiful view, the food was more than delicious, and the host made us feel welcome. We brought our dog, and they treated it like a member of the family. Thank you!

The owners are so kind and friendly, and they organize lovely hikes that make you feel right at home. We had a great weekend at Pensiunea Somesana, with time to relax and take day trips in the mountains. We'll definitely come back.

The food and drinks were delicious, mostly made with local produce. The wooden building has a rustic, mountainous feel and is filled with old objects, like a museum of village life in Transylvania. Mr. Tinu is at the center of everything, helping guests around the clock with advice and arranging weekly hikes, treks, bonfires, and more. He's helpful, honest, and competent. We spent a couple of days hiking in the area, staying in two rooms with two adults and three children, one of whom was our cousin. For mountaineering, it's a good base for the Rodnei Mountains, including places like Lakes Lala and Ineu Peak. The accommodation has a kind of all-inclusive feel.

Leontin is wonderfully friendly, and the room was bright and very clean. I loved the traditional interior at Pesiunea Somesana, and the breakfast and other food were all really tasty. National Parc Muntii Rodnei is beautiful too. I'd love to return someday!
