The place used to be run-down, but the man has turned it into something beautiful. The accommodation is lovely, with spacious rooms.

The rooms felt stuck in the communist era and weren’t maintained. We even found beer bottles in our room, probably left by previous guests. At 200 lei a night, it isn’t worth the price, and it doesn’t deserve three stars.

This is a pleasant guesthouse in a converted former train station, with parking right outside. Our shower barely drained, and when the power went out we couldn’t find anyone to help. On arrival, we also had to search for someone to let us in. Nobody told us whether there was a shared kitchen, so we left without morning coffee and were grumpy.

Clean, reasonably priced, and I can recommend it with confidence.

A welcoming host, clean rooms, and very good value for the money.
