The restaurant took ages to serve us because it was packed, but that seemed to be the case all over the resort. Every restaurant was fully booked. The kids' little playroom helped make the wait easier. The hotel itself was really nice, as was the room, and the people at reception were very friendly.

I was there a few weeks back and had a really nice time. Lovely place, clean, polite staff. I'll definitely come back.

The restaurant was one of the best parts for me. There was a varied menu, the food was well prepared and tasty, and breakfast had a good choice. My room was spacious, clean, and well furnished, with a warm, modern feel that made it comfortable to come back to after a day out. Dorna Hotel is in the center of Vatra Dornei, handy for local sights and with lovely views of the surrounding landscape. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional, and willing to help with requests. For a four-star stay, it felt both comfortable and luxurious. I'd recommend it for a short trip or a longer visit, and yes, I'd stay again.
