A really nice place to stay while visiting Vatra Dornei, with a great location close to the river walk and park, both an easy walk away. The view was a bit unlucky because it looked over the Lidl parking lot. My room was a little damp when I checked in, and some AC would help in summer. Still, it’s a good location.

A good local option, with clean, decent rooms and a good location. The view was kind of disappointing. There’s no proper restaurant, just breakfast.

Such a warm, cozy place, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is great and has a traditional touch. I loved the flowers on the balcony and the traditional Romanian music and dance during the winter holidays. Definitely somewhere I’d come back to.

We had a good breakfast, and the staff helping us were really kind. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was nice. Parking is on the property and you enter straight from the street. It might be a little tight for a larger SUV: the space is short enough that part of the vehicle could get in pedestrians’ way. Housekeeping needs work. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and the next day the housekeeper came in at a bad time and woke our 1-year-old during his afternoon nap.

The service was excellent, and they did their best to handle any request. Breakfast had a good range of choices, too. Right in the center of Vatra Dornei, the place has very spacious, clean rooms.
