Dana Resort

The room was dusty and uncomfortable, the fridge made so much noise it was hard to sleep, and the terrace door was broken. We told the staff, but nothing was done. For what we paid, the stay was disappointing. It’s advertised as a 4-star place, but it fell well short, and the poor cleanliness and lack of response made it bad value. I’d look elsewhere if you want a relaxing stay.

It’s a lovely, comfortable resort, and the walk to the beach takes about 9 minutes and is pleasant. But the pillows were too big for me, as usual, and none of the four of us slept well. The air felt odd, though I don’t know why. Maybe it was the detergent. Some dishes were extremely tasty, while others weren’t, and the oil tasted funny.

The outdoor grounds are lovely, with lots of trees, flowers and grass, and the pool and restaurant look nice too. The room itself was just okay, with a strange smell when we walked in. I think it came from the bathroom, which had no window and ventilation that didn’t work, so the room stayed humid. Water also leaked under the shower while we used it, and we had to put towels on the floor. Overall, it was okay, but the rooms, especially the bathrooms, need some work.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and breakfast had enough variety that we wanted nothing more. The resort is green and cozy, with a pool, and the beach is about 5 minutes away. We booked at the last minute and got a reasonable price. Our room was a clean 3-star room with the basic necessities. I understand there are also 4-star rooms.
