Marshal is on a quieter street right by Belgrade’s pedestrian area, so it’s peaceful but still easy to reach many sights. Republic Square is just a stone’s throw away. Our room was modern and roomy enough, with a balcony that would be handy in warmer months. We had a small mishap at the start, but the young, energetic reception staff more than made up for it with their helpfulness, politeness and hospitality. If I’m in Belgrade again, I’ll stay here.

It’s a good hotel, with comfortable rooms that have a TV and refrigerator. The view of Belgrade at night from the window is beautiful. Breakfast is buffet style, with a repetitive menu, but it’s tasty. The attitude toward Russians is excellent.
