The annex was fine for us, and the room was warm and comfortable. Staff were attentive and very kind. Having a luggage room on the reception floor was helpful, too. Breakfast wasn’t really to my taste, though, and there didn’t seem to be much seating at breakfast time.

We had a spacious, very clean room, and the whole hotel was just as clean. The helpful staff, perfect location between the waterfront and old town, and ample, delicious breakfast all made for a good stay. It’s easy to walk around, though the public buses are free, so make use of them. The one problem was the heating. Our room’s radiators didn’t work properly, perhaps because they needed bleeding, so it was cold and uncomfortable. I’d recommend staying here, but make sure the radiators work if you’re visiting in winter.

I had a brief layover and chose Belgrade City Hotel for its central location instead of staying closer to the airport. The neighborhood felt lively and welcoming, with restaurants, shops and transport close by. I took the airport bus, which dropped me at the corner of the hotel for around 400 in their currency. My economy room was in the Annex Building. It was compact, quaint, clean and cute, with a charming feel. The wifi was good, the water pressure was great, there was a good fridge for cold drinks, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really nice and made me feel looked after. I can’t say anything negative about this hotel. It’s a great place in the center of Belgrade.

The staff were great and helpful, especially Ms. Zorana, and breakfast was good. The room was the problem. We booked this hotel thinking an economy room at a 4-star property would still be something special and that we’d enjoy our stay. After checking in, we learned it was in an annex building at the end of the backyard, behind the main building. We were looking for a 4-star hotel and saw a special offer, but the building we got felt like two-star accommodation. It had no elevator and needed some maintenance.
