Central Park Apartments

Our host was great, available online and in person whenever we wanted, so full marks for him. The apartment is on the 7th floor in a central spot, with cafes, shops and a large mall by mama shelter just three minutes away. Most places are an easy walk. It's a big apartment, but old-fashioned from the elevator through to the decor. It was warm in winter and worked well, though, and staying there gave us a nice authentic sense of the city. For us, it was worth the money.

You get a cheap place right in the center of the pedestrian street, and that's about it. The place itself is just fair. The Booking photos are misleading and don't resemble what we found.

This was a horrible experience. If you're worried by the reviews and booked one of these places through Booking, AirBNB, or another platform, here's what I'd do. First, the address doesn't match what's listed, which means the place is misrepresented. The host's excuse isn't acceptable. Don't check in or stay. Call Booking or AirBNB right away, explain that the listing is inaccurate, and ask for all your money back. Keep everything on the platform. The company's employees were rude and disgusting, and I wouldn't trust what they tell you. Ask the booking service to arrange somewhere else and be persistent. They should follow through, since this place is awful and nobody wants to stay here. That's how you can get your money back and find a better place. Hopefully it also means these people stop earning from these awful apartments and go bankrupt soon. Thank me later!

We booked an apartment and ended up in a dump in an old building. It was dirty and smelly, with no balcony despite that being promised, and the parking they advertised was 3 km away. I took photos as proof. Never renting from them again, it was a disaster. Don't make our mistake. I thought Serbian people were better than this. They call these 4 star apartments, but they deserve no stars.
