Hostel M

I've never stayed in a hostel with a better location for getting to interesting parts of the city, and the price was good too. The owners were friendly. One warning: don't let taxi drivers take advantage of you. Ask the fare before you get in.

This old building gives you a sense of an authentic experience, and the location is convenient: about a 10-minute walk from the bus station in New Belgrade, the Sava river, and Old town. It's good value, but I wouldn't stay longer than one night. The facilities are very basic. The bathroom siphon was blocked and water covered the floor, there was nowhere to put my things, and we only had small towels. The rooms were too hot, with little fresh air from the window, and they were noisy and not clean enough. A little more attention to the details and better management could make this place a gem.

I was very happy with my stay at Hostel M. The room was simple but had everything I needed, and the location was great, about seven minutes from the bus station. The staff spoke English and were lovely and helpful. They even let me leave my luggage after check-out, which I really appreciated! Renata from Poland

Hostel M was affordable and had all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were happy to help with anything. It's tucked into a small, quiet courtyard, but still just a short walk from many of Belgrade's best spots. A fantastic place to stay.
