Hotel Moxy Belgrade

The front desk team was especially warm and attentive. Throughout our long stay, nobody showed even a trace of indifference. Everyone was professional and a wonderful representative of Serbia. Staff across the hotel were lovely, ready to help, and willing to come up with creative fixes for unusual requests. For a three-star hotel, Moxy Belgrade feels like more, with good value, useful work and meeting areas, and a great location. We enjoyed the restaurant too. The portions were huge and everything we tried tasted great, though we often felt bad leaving food because there was so much. I only wished they had some grilled or roasted vegetables to serve with the excellent meat dishes. The hotel has a lot of energy and feels comfortable and kind. We'd happily recommend it and will be back.

The attached restaurant is a proper GastroBar that seems to draw locals. I had dinner there, and the food was good with good service. Prices were quite close to places outside the hotel, just 100-300 RSD more than those food kitchens. The A1 airport bus stops fairly nearby. For free public transport, though, you'd need to change buses. There's not much else around, but walking toward Republic Square you'll pass shops, and there are several places to eat plus a supermarket across the road. My stay was closer to a 2.5 for me, since other Moxy hotels I've tried were a little better, especially with elite recognition. I booked a Dream Queen room and got that, but no extra arrival gift like I'd received at other Moxy hotels in Europe. The elite recognition matched what was written on paper for my status. Staff were okay, neither especially friendly nor unfriendly. Breakfast was so-so. There was an okay selection, but I thought the quality was a bit low. They did have a juicer for fresh juice, which is a plus. I'm not sure what they'd charge, but I don't think it'd be worthwhile above 12-15€. The room was okay. In winter, I could open the window if it got too hot, though I don't know how well the climate control works in summer. The bed and TV options were fine, but YouTube didn't work. The shower had good pressure and temperature. I missed having hooks for used towels. At the other Moxy hotels I've stayed in around Europe, coffee and tea were complimentary in the lobby, where you could also work. Here, they were only available at breakfast. When I asked, staff told me they weren't free, and I didn't feel as welcome in this property's lobby lounge as at the other Moxy hotels I've visited. I'd come back only if the price gap with the Hilton were large. Otherwise, I'd probably choose the Hilton or maybe try the Courtyard.

The location made it easy to get around Belgrade, while the hotel still felt calm and cozy. My room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely designed, and breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices. From arrival onward, the staff made me feel welcome and looked after. Every detail seemed handled with care and professionalism. I had a wonderful stay, was completely satisfied, and would gladly return and recommend it to anyone visiting Belgrade.

The parking setup was the biggest inconvenience. You can't park the car in the garage yourself, which made the process uncomfortable. If you're lucky enough to find a spot outside, though, it's all fine. The hotel is fairly central, and the basic rooms could be a little more comfortable, but there wasn't any major problem.
