Vila Chess

The room condition was dirty, and I think the reviews for this place may be fake. We paid full price but didn't get the service, and the owners should be ashamed of how they treated us. We stayed two nights and checked in around 8pm on Saturday. After waiting 15 minutes at reception, I rang the doorbell to alert the owner, who lives in the same compound. The first room he gave us had bugs on the walls and bed, so my wife asked for a different room. He changed it, but there was no hot water or heating, with the outside temperature below 10c. He said both would be on in 10 minutes, then left. We were the only guests there, and all the other rooms were empty. Neither hot water nor heat came on during the first night. At around 8am the next morning, I rang the bell again and told him we'd had no hot water or heat all night. He then turned them on. A few hours into our second night, the heating was off again. The owners are so cheap that I think they deliberately turn off the heat and hot water at night. I messaged the owner twice that night to say we were without heat again, but they ignored us and nothing was done.

I had a great night here. The owner of the vila was extremely kind and helpful. I lost my wallet on the way during the airport shuttle service, and the owner and her son helped me get it back before my flight took off. Thanks again!

The room was really small, and there's no air conditioning, so you have to leave the door open before going to sleep. I didn't like the neighborhood, but it's a decent place to sleep while in transit. The host was nice, I liked her. There's a restaurant and terrace on the property, plus private free parking and free internet. We wanted to ride our electric scooters to the center, but having to use the highway felt scary, so we drove to the center instead and went around from there.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and everything was very clean and just like the photos. It's not far from the center either. I strongly recommend it for a short or long stay. Really nice, see you again.
