Hotel Aris

The rooms were a pleasant surprise for the price, really affordable. The restaurant food and drinks were good quality and cheap compared with other prices on Kopaonik. The location has a great view. Construction nearby was the one drawback, though the work stops during the season. I'd recommend it.

The restaurant service was a zero, and the food was just as bad.

The view, which is presented as a highlight of the apartment, has been blocked by two new buildings going up beside it. Construction noise also disrupted our vacation. The owner said he'd simply forgotten to tell us about the work beforehand.

We were very satisfied and would definitely return. The hotel is modern and well made, in a weekend village, and the price includes parking and a very practical minibus ride to the centre. You can choose bed and breakfast or half board, with a varied buffet. The spacious spa is warm enough, and the glass Finnish sauna gives a unique view of the landscape. A few small details could be improved: there are no towel racks or bathrobes by the showers or sauna, or in the apartment bathroom. The bedside light switch was missing, so you have to get up to turn the light off. The kitchen has cutlery, glasses and plates, but nothing else, so a kettle and a frying pan or saucepan would be useful for guests who need them.
