Vila Mozart

We felt at home at Vila Mozart. The apartment was warm, clean, and pleasant, and the breakfast was amazing. Jelena was always around and happy to help with anything we needed. I had a great stay.

We ended up eating dinner at other restaurants every night after the awful, cold meal on New Year's night. They told us that kind of food was a Serbian tradition, but that wasn't true. The food was the same every day and there wasn't enough. Some people in our group got no food on the first night, yet still had to pay for it. We stayed six nights and had to keep insisting that the rooms be cleaned. The accommodation and the host's attitude were both horrible. They seemed interested only in the money. I wish I’d read honest reviews like this before booking.

The photos gave a very different impression of the villa. The restaurant was poor: breakfast was the same each day with no fresh vegetables, and when we had dinner there, the soup wasn't enough for everyone and the main course arrived cold. On New Year's Eve, the main dish was so bad nobody could eat it. They also shut the restaurant at 8 o'clock on our last night and wouldn't let us in. The staff didn't know English, and we only learned about their many rules after arriving. One star feels too generous.

Suncana dolina is a 7-minute drive away, and there you can buy a weekly parking pass for 22€ and leave the car next to the slope. Parking by Vila Mozart was a little tricky. The kitchen met our expectations, and the room was cozy, beautiful, and clean. Breakfast felt like grandma had made it. It was a great stay, and we'd be happy to come back. If you want to feel at home, this is the place for you.
