The WiFi wasn’t working, and there was no shower soap in the apartment when I arrived on a Sunday afternoon in 30C weather. With almost every shop in Zr closed and my presentation only two hours away, I had to hurry out to find an open store and buy soap before showering. I messaged the owners on Viber right away, but got no reply, and still hadn’t heard from them by checkout the next day, even though they had seen it. Then Booking notified me that the owners had said I never stayed in the apartment. They’re avoiding taxes and Booking fees, which is their business, but they never asked whether I agreed to this. It was a very unpleasant stay. I’ve travelled all over the world and never encountered such a mess, with no soap, unpaid WiFi, and a false report to Booking.

It’s clean and nicely decorated, with nearly everything you’d need for a few days away. It’s not right in the center of Zrenjanin, and people looking for extra touches to make the stay special might find things to criticize.

A quiet, peaceful spot about 5 minutes from the center, in a new building. The apartment itself is clean and everything in it feels new, and the staff are friendly. It’s a luxurious place for a very affordable price, and I’d happily stay overnight at the "Jelena" apartment again whenever I’m passing through.
