Maddy's Kitchen and Accomodation

We spent four days here, and the staff made the stay feel easy from the start. We turned up without a reservation and they found us a room right away. When my partner and I felt unwell one day, a staff member ordered food for us through her phone app, and we paid her in cash. They also kept our water bottles in the fridge, suggested places to visit, and even set up a fire one evening. Really lovely people. Breakfast was a highlight each morning: fresh fruit, an omelette, and drinks, which we enjoyed sitting outside. The room was very clean, with fresh towels and sheets, and it was cleaned daily. There’s free WiFi throughout, plus outdoor outlets, and lots of people worked there during the day. The location is great, just across the water, with restaurants and clubs down the street for evenings. Motor taxis and cabs often pass by. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The garden is lovely, and the food was good. Dinner took ages, though, we waited 90 minutes. Still, I think it’s worth stopping by.

The setting is lovely, with a nice morning view and a good breakfast menu. We also enjoyed the fire pit they lit for my fiancé and me on a cold night. The location is handy for the beach and a few restaurants. The problems were at the front desk. There was confusion about my online booking and their policy, which hadn’t been explained when I arrived. Expedia said breakfast was included and checkout was at noon, but they charged me for breakfast and said checkout was at 10am. They were going to charge extra for the two hours, and we kept going back and forth about what the booking showed. The front desk seemed annoyed by the situation. I also asked about a massage and never heard back. They should explain checkout policy when guests arrive and make a menu clear about what breakfast items are included.

The food was the best in giseni, and I liked the coffee too. It’s a great place and I recommend it, though the service could be better. There was no internet, and the owner could be a little more involved.
