After finishing the Congo Nile Trail, I was glad to find a spacious, clean room here, with a nice balcony and the best bed I’ve had in Rwanda so far. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, which felt especially welcome after the trail. Staff were helpful too. The only possible downside is music from a bar down the road if you’re hoping to sleep early. Recommended.

We really liked the location, close to major attractions, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff at this Residence were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautiful. It also felt like a safe, lovely place for kids. If you want a good place to stay with good customer care, I’d recommend it. We’ll come back for our next vacation.

The residence is right across from Lake Kivu, with several bars and restaurants nearby. We spent two nights here and had breakfast and dinner prepared for us both evenings, all wonderful. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the facilities felt brand new and tastefully decorated. Amazing stay, definitely recommend.
