The thoughtful little touches, the lovely dance show, and how kind everyone was made this one of the warmest places we stayed on our road trip. We booked the lodge for just one night, December 25-26, 2025, expecting somewhere basic to sleep, and were surprised by how spotless it was and how helpful the staff were. Everything felt just right, and the value for the price is outstanding. We’ll definitely return. Thank you for making our stay so special 🙏

Dinner was delicious, and we had a lovely view from the balcony. The room was spacious, with a really comfortable bed. Set in a stunning location, the place also had first class service. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

Those hot water bottles in the room were such a nice touch, and the traditional dancing with the local kids was a lot of fun. The lodge is close to the park registration, too. We also really enjoyed the food, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Beautiful spot.

The welcome from the staff was warm, and the service was good. Food at most lodges in Rwanda hasn't suited our taste, but we genuinely enjoyed eating here. It was very good.

I ended up with stomach pain, and the way they handled the mistake made it worse. Nobody apologized or tried to sort it out, they just defended what had happened. I won't order pizza from here again.
