Eagle View Lodge

The gardens are stunning, and you can tell a lot of passion and care went into creating them. Eagle View Lodge sits on Mt. Rebero amid lush greenery, with sweeping views across Kigali. Inside, everything was immaculate and inviting, with a calm, elegant feel. I liked the open kitchen, and the bar is a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the view. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, and the massage fit the tranquil setting beautifully. William, the owner and host, clearly cares about giving guests a great experience, and his pride shows in the details and atmosphere. It’s a memorable Kigali place for relaxing, reflecting, and enjoying Rwanda.

The staff are the real highlight, such kind people who bring warmth and joy to every interaction. The food was very high quality too. Eagle View Lodge has an excellent restaurant and sits in a beautiful, charming garden that’s been made with obvious care and love. I can highly recommend it. Plenty of hotels in Rwanda charge much more and offer far less.

We had two wonderful stays, and the rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed, with incredible views of Kigali. The restaurant food was amazing, the best we ate anywhere in Rwanda. Staff were so friendly and always went out of their way to help. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely return if we come back to Kigali.

Breakfast and the view were excellent, and the staff were nice. The view is fantastic, though the location is a little far from the city center. The bed was a bit hard, and there were mosquitoes in the room with a gap in the mosquito net.
