For around $10 a night, the value is still great, so I don't want to complain too much. Still, the place could use some care and more thought about how things work. I was glad I stayed only two nights. A lot felt worn down. The sheets looked dirty, even if they may have been washed, and should be replaced. My single room had just a bed, with no nightstand, place to hang a jacket, or waste bin. The shared bathroom had only the bare basics too. A hook or a bar for clothes and towels would have helped.

The facilities were great, and the owner was a great chap who looked after my friend and me. I only stayed one night, but ended up staying up all night talking with another traveller about everything from meditation to electrical engineering. I can imagine meeting plenty of interesting people if you stay for a couple of nights.

Joseph and Desire were especially amazing and really made my trip. The place is clean, quiet in the evenings, and well located, with lots to do within walking distance. There's a really nice, welcoming community here.

The location is good, the price is very reasonable, and the wifi was good. The staff were fantastic, especially Frank, and they know all the good places to visit around the city. Wonderful place to stay in Kigali. I'd definitely recommend it when you're visiting.

There are lots of food options nearby, and the area, like most of Kigali, is lovely to explore on foot. It's a nice place with very friendly staff, fair priced dorms, and a chance to meet other backpackers. Highly recommend it for backpackers. Thanks for the lovely stay, and cheers from France 🙏
