The view is so beautiful, and the staff are friendly and supportive. A great place to stay in Kigali.

The free drinking water in the room was a plus, and breakfast was decent. The place was okay, nothing special, though it’s far from the city center. Booking was confusing and things weren’t planned properly. That kind of thing seems to happen often in Africa.

The breakfast really stood out, with vegetables, chips, sausages, crisp toast, jam, eggs, coffee, milk and fruit. A good start to the day. We stayed here twice, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is budget-friendly, with some rooms having fans and others AC. It’s around a 15-20 minute drive from the city. The restaurant is a lovely place to relax, with mahogany tones and thoughtful colors. I even took a Zoom call there while looking out over the pool at sunset. We didn’t use the pool itself. The view is pleasant, and the staff are great. The owner is a Malayali Indian with a good business sense. The rooms feel dated and could use an update. Our toilet smelled, and their attempt to fix it didn’t work. We were moved to another family room, but it felt worn and looked poor. The bathroom and shower door also seemed loosely assembled. Wi-Fi was moderate in some rooms and terrible in others. The place is quiet unless you’re near the staircase, which can get loud sometimes.

The room was clean, with its own shower and toilet, warm water, and a little TV. At my request, the hotel put up a mosquito net before I arrived. I spent three nights here in February 2023 and had a very nice stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked swimming in the pool, and the patio has a beautiful view across Kigali. Breakfast was good, usually coffee, scrambled eggs, toast and oats. I also had lamb one night and chicken another, and both were very good. I’d be happy to come back.
