A quiet, pleasant spot with secure parking. The shower water was freezing, though, since there’s no heater. Still, I’d recommend the place.

The cable was the one small hassle, since it had to be operated from reception instead of from my room. Aside from that, I had a wonderful stay at the plaza guest hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and understood English, and the rooms and grounds were kept clean, including a sparkling bathroom and toilet. I also really enjoyed the massage and sauna at the suana lounge. The bar attendants gave great service, the chef made tasty fish and potato, and the WiFi was very fast.

For officers attending a meeting on a small budget, the $25 price was really helpful. My room was clean, the sheets were changed every day, and the employees were fantastic and cooperative. I don’t regret staying at Plata guest house.

The lady at reception was especially helpful, arranging a taxi when we needed one and suggesting places to shop. It’s a lovely little place tucked away, and the staff make you feel welcome, almost like family.

The place itself is nice, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You can book and show up only to be told that everything is already full.
