We had a lovely dinner overlooking the lights on the other side of the lake. The tomato soup, chicken curry, and fried banana were especially good. At breakfast there was a Spanish omelette, fresh fruit and juice, and the best coffee we've had so far in Rwanda. The room and balcony were lovely, the bed comfortable, and everything was very clean. There were two plates of fresh food in the room, and the shower had several settings and worked well. The location is beautiful, and the welcome felt warm. We'll definitely come back, especially for the view of the volcanoes from the balcony.

We never actually stayed at the hotel, and honestly, I regret that. We went there for dinner in the morning and evening, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious, especially the fish. Yves and Patience served us and their warm, energetic charm made us feel at home. We got to see the rooms too, and they were gorgeous. Thanks so much, Yves and Patience. I hope to return soon, and I highly recommend it for a lovely dinner 🥰

The view from this hotel is reason enough to stay. Every morning brought a breathtaking scene, from sunrise colors to the calm landscape stretching out in front of us. The rooms make the most of the scenery, and it was hard to leave the balcony. Everything felt peaceful, fresh, and inspiring. I’ll definitely return.

y Hill Eco Lodge feels like a quiet, charming escape in the Rwandan hills, with wide views across the countryside. It has a calm, authentic atmosphere and a focus on nature and sustainability. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and it's a nice place to unwind away from the city.

We spent two nights walking around the peninsula, relaxing, drinking African tea, and eating wonderful food. The rooms and the view were beyond what we expected. It was an incredible stay, and Jervais, the owner, and the staff made it feel genuinely special. Five stars all around. We'll be back!
