This was my first time checking in at Al khobar. I’m from Riyadh, and unfortunately it was a bad experience. I booked for 12:00 am on December 22. The man at the cashier said the standard checkout was 2pm, then told me they would let me check out at 3pm. Before 2pm, though, someone messaged me on WhatsApp saying I had to leave by 2pm. He lied to me. I was charged 150 instead of 140, too, and I don’t understand why. This is not acceptable. The hallway and the area outside were very noisy because of construction, and I only got to sleep around 9am. I slept so poorly that I had to move to a better hotel. Please treat everyone fairly and be good to people.

On my first stay here, I found the hotel quiet and clean, and all the staff were supportive. Parking takes some searching, although luckily I found a spot nearby each day. Don’t dismiss the hotel because of older customers’ bad reviews. I’d highly recommend it for an affordable price.

I had a great stay. The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, and Suhail, the Bangladeshi receptionist, was really nice and cooperative. There’s just one elevator for four floors, no food service, and parking is on the street, including paid parking at the crossing. There weren’t enough clothes hangers in the bathroom.
