Almuhaidb Residence alkhobar

The room was filthy, which was the worst part of a thoroughly unpleasant business stay. I left after the first night and found another hotel. I arrived late and tired, and the staff barely paid attention during check-in before putting me in a horrible, small room with broken furniture and a TV that didn't work. The bathroom wasn't suitable, with hardly any amenities and just one small towel. The lobby was tiny and had hardly any lights on.

The front desk staff, both the young and older men, were rude and arrogant, and didn't seem to know how to do their jobs. The service in Dammam was the worst I've experienced. Breakfast was awful, and after eating it I had to see a doctor because it seemed to be in bad condition. Be careful. They should close or replace the crew. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way, judging by most of the reviews. 0/10.

That view from the top floor was beautiful, with the sea sunrise each morning and Bahrain visible in the distance. We asked Mr. Mohammad at reception for a higher floor, and he quickly found us a room up top. It was also easy to get the room we preferred changed. We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and Mr. Naser at reception was humble and helpful. Mr. Ahmed and the room service team, along with the other staff, were very nice. I'm glad we chose this hotel. Alhamdulillah, and jazakallah Khairan to all the staff.

After a five-hour drive, I arrived to find the lights off and a man there saying the hotel was closed. Why accept reservations if you're shut? He said they had informed booking.com, but the listing was still taking bookings, then told me to find somewhere else on the street. I called booking.com and was told to wait 45 minutes while they checked. Then I got an email saying the property was open and waiting for me. I went back and found manager Abdulnaser. I explained I was in trouble, but he didn't seem to care. He was holding a printed booking.com paper with my name on it and said people come every day with reservations even though the hotel is closed. I don't know who lied, but someone did and left me in a difficult situation. I still don't know whom to complain to, but I'll find out whether it's Baladiya or some ministry and make a complaint. The behavior was awful, and they wouldn't take responsibility for the trouble they caused. Worst experience.
