Elaf Kinda Hotel

The breakfast food was amazingly good, and the rooms were tidy and presentable. I also remember the reception staff’s hospitality as a real highlight. ALHAMDULILLAH, I had the chance to stay at Elaf Kinda, and it was an awesome experience. The hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the Haram, and I’d definitely want to stay here again.

Being so close to Masjidil Haram made it easy and stress-free to go back and forth for prayers. We spent five days at Elaf Kinda Hotel Makkah and really loved the stay. The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful, and everything felt comfortable and well looked after. A great place in Makkah, highly recommended 🤍

The room was a little small and noisy, but it didn’t bother me much since I spent most of my time outside at Haram. The reception and breakfast service were great, and the food was delicious overall. I also liked that it wasn’t too crowded, there were plenty of lifts, and the walk from downstairs to the room was short. They served Saudi coffee at breakfast, and the price was lower than at neighboring hotels.

I booked Elaf Kinda Hotel again for Umrah this year because I’d enjoyed my stay last year, especially its closeness to the Haram. That earlier visit had low room lighting and Wi-Fi that didn’t work, and neither issue had improved. This time the Wi-Fi was completely unusable and the lighting was still very dim. When I came back around 3 a.m. after Umrah, the bedsheets hadn’t been changed, the table was dirty, and the sofa was stained. The room was extremely small, and the walls were so thin I could hear people outside and the elevator running all night. I asked staff to move me, but they kept telling me to return after prayer, and nothing was done. For a hotel rated five stars, this was extremely disappointing. I’ve stayed in three-star hotels that were much better. I won’t stay here again and can’t recommend it. Also, as a woman entering the hotel, it was really uncomfortable to have the workers from the barber shop at the entrance constantly staring at me. They don’t look away.
