Tulip Inn Andalusia Al Khobar

We arrived late with three children, and the staff got us into our room quickly. They were friendly and seemed well trained, and the rooms are a good size. The design of the hotel is old, though, and our room wasn’t clean. The tables and floor were sticky, and the towels were very worn, with threads coming loose. Parking is free and feels well protected. Wifi was free too and generally worked well.

The room was clean, the staff were good, and the lighting was good. The AC worked properly, but the towel looked very old. There wasn’t much variety at the buffet, and I couldn’t find a room dining menu. We got only one water bottle per day. The location is bad if you need a mini mart or supermarket, since it’s far away.

The two-bedroom flat was clean and a good size, and the reception staff and breakfast service were great. The building itself seems rather old and could use some updating to a more modern style. I really liked it and will try to come again.

The helpful, courteous team at reception and in the restaurant made a good impression. The lobby areas are quiet and carpeted, so they cut down outside noise. The hotel is away from the city centre, though the entrance and reception look good. My room was a decent size but dim, and the linen and furnishings seemed worn. In bathroom 415 there was nowhere to put soap in the shower, so I had to leave the shower gel on the floor. The curtains were hard to open and close and had paint marks. As a vegetarian, I found the food choices very limited and usually skipped dinner there, so I can't really comment on the food.
