A great value compared with other resorts nearby. It’s a lovely place to get away for 3-4 days with family or friends.

There were some things that could be better: lots of flies got into the rooms, sunlight slipped through gaps at the sides of the curtains in the morning, and the shower pressure was weak, even though the water was warm. We also asked several times about the free bikes, but they never arrived and nobody said they weren’t available. Still, this was a truly unique stay among beautiful rocks, with relatively private accommodation and great value for the money. The service was excellent, as good as any shangri-la, and the staff were well trained. Everyone was lovely, especially the team at the herrat restaurant during breakfast. Nico stood out, mostly because we remembered his name. The breakfast tasted incredible, and we felt we got our money’s worth in this wonderful, exclusive setting. Everything else was 10 out of 10. We’d consider coming back, and think we got the best price.
