Braira AL Azizia Resort and Hotel

We spent just two nights here, my wife, our 1-year-old, and me, in a superior executive room, and it was easily the worst stay of all my travels across every continent. There was no coordination with the on-site Waves Restaurant, and even meal times were communicated in confusing, mixed messages. The room wasn’t clean to the standard I’d expect from a 4-star place. Several things didn’t work: the microwave, which was a real problem traveling with a 1-year-old; the telephone handsets, so calls could only be made on speaker; and the wall clock. The kitchen had a cooktop but no pots or pans to use it. We were charged for breakfast, but none was provided. During Ramadan, hotels make suhoor arrangements to replace breakfast, but there was nothing at all. Disappointingly bad, and a complete waste of money.

The restaurant food was delicious, and the beach was fantastic. The jetski service was a real highlight of our trip. Everything was spotlessly clean, the rooms were very comfortable, and all the staff were polite and helpful. The reception team were especially professional. A special thank you to Ms. Bayan for her outstanding service. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Our two-bedroom villa was amazing, and the pool was clean. Budha, the housing supervisor, was very helpful, and the staff were welcoming and polite. Great experience overall, I’d come back.

The private beach is truly beautiful, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Service overall needs improvement, particularly in the restaurant and with room service. Breakfast was below average, and the rooms could use some upgrades. There are Myna birds around, so take the necessary precautions.
