Wave Resort

There are several clean villas with three to six rooms, and most have a sea view. Mr. Hassan Al-Masri at reception is excellent, polite, and kind. I did have trouble finding the reception number, though. It isn’t listed on Google Maps, since prices on other websites are higher.

I stayed at Chalet No. 517 starting May 9, 2025, and it was worth the price. It has four bedrooms, three living rooms, five bathrooms, a kitchen, and a dining table. There’s also an outdoor seating area and a clean pool, with clean sea water that’s excellent for swimming. The chalet is elegant and spacious, with plenty of seating areas, privacy, and a sea view. The kitchen is fully equipped, the furniture is gorgeous, and the facilities, cleanliness, and staff were all excellent.

The resort has bicycles, a restaurant, and a grocery store, and the three-bedroom villa we booked through Rehlat was a two-minute walk from the sea. We paid 1010 riyals. The villa and pool were clean, but the place is a bit dated and could use renovation. The kettle was dirty, with coffee grounds and dish soap residue inside. They also gave us a water bottle with only a quarter cup of water in it.

There’s a grocery store at the resort and you can rent bicycles. The villa is close to the beach, though it isn’t directly on it, and the beach isn’t real. The villa was reasonably clean, but the furniture was very worn, and the place looked abandoned. I expected better.
