Golden Tulip Hail

The food was old and tasteless, and they didn't even bring what I ordered. I asked for grilled Hamour and got fried Seabass instead. The restaurant was a disaster.

The room itself was comfortable, the bed was clean and so were the sheets. The sofa, though, was kind of dirty. I also liked Ha'il a lot. It's a cool city, and the people I met were good. This hotel has potential and could be so much better. The gym is very good and still does the job, though some equipment needs repairs. It only opens at 2 pm, which I don't think is acceptable. The laundry mix-up nearly delayed my departure. I was told it would be picked up and returned by 8 pm that evening, but it hadn't come back by then. Even 24 hours later it still wasn't ready. Housekeeping didn't know where it was, and said the man who picked it up didn't know either. I was trying to pack to leave very early the next day, so this caused a real problem. I had also paid for breakfast, but was told I could get a refund because I had to leave before it was served. At checkout they said no refund was possible. So I paid for a meal I couldn't have, and they kept the money. That's not acceptable at all.

The food tasted good, but it ran out and wasn't replenished for those served last. We were disappointed that the iftar buffet closed before 7:30 pm, even though we had been told it ran from 6 to 8 pm and iftar itself began at 6:30. We got less than an hour. Please improve this.

The location is easy to find and good, but the place feels a bit sad and doesn't have a happy vibe. The restrooms have perfume, though there's still an off smell.
