This was my second stay at Taramuntan Hail Hotel. I find it a good value, budget friendly place, with very large, spacious, clean rooms. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and there were towels, toiletries like Doray, other essentials, and even accessories for kids. I slept well and felt rested. For the price, the cleanliness and comfort were better than I expected. The receptionist was polite and helpful at check-in, and the staff made me feel welcome. It’s around 3-4km from Hail city, so it’s peaceful and quiet, but you’ll need a car for the short drive. The main downside is that there’s no restaurant in the hotel. For meals, you have to go into Hail city, about a 30-35 minute drive away. Having basic food or snacks onsite would be handy. With transport, it’s a good option for families, solo travelers, or business stays. I’d stay again, and already have. If they add food service, it’d be even better.

The water heater didn’t work, even after staff came to fix it. We weren’t told we had to switch it on, so our first shower was cold. After it was supposedly turned on, there was still no hot water after 10 minutes. People from North America probably aren’t familiar with how this works. We were also given only one bath towel per person, with no face towels. When we asked, they said they only had bath towels. Water from the shower runs straight onto the bathroom floor, making it dangerous and slippery.

Please keep this service level up. You’re doing an amazing job. It’s quiet here and perfect for a business stay, and the customer service is delightful. You get 5 star service on a 3 star budget. Special thanks to Mr. Bandar for constantly going above and beyond.

The rooms are reasonable for the price, and the staff were the best part. Talal and Bandar at reception, and Nor Alam from housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. The place could use a few improvements, though. The reception area was a bit dusty, with fake plants hanging from the ceiling, and the toilets badly need attention. Three stars feels fair.
