The location is the one good thing here, though even that can be noisy. Young people sometimes blast music along the walkway at 2 AM. People want to live on the walkway, and the building looks nice outside, so tbh they’re taking the mic. Stay far away unless you can live with everything I’ve described. They took my deposit and then stopped answering me, and I never got it back. The landlord’s son also went silent once he had my money. They said they’d make a contract, but that never happened, and they wouldn’t give me his father’s number even though he owns the place. Instead they left everything to a doorman who told me he was illegal. He kept complaining that he wasn’t paid enough and reminding me of it. I can hardly believe how bad it was, and I’m not joking. They claimed the furniture was new, but it clearly wasn’t. The bed headboards were wrapped in plastic to look new, and underneath they were very old. The oven and refrigerator were infested with cockroaches. There were loose tiles and clogged drains. Two of the four kitchen outlets didn’t work, some lights didn’t work either, and the outlets weren’t grounded. I got shocked while boiling water. The stove fuse blew. One AC stopped working; a repair lasted three days, and then they said I had to find someone to fix it. The refrigerator stopped cooling, and it took five days for them to send a repair person. The power was out for a whole day because they hadn’t paid the bill, yet they asked me if I had paid it, even though I’d only been there three days.
