The facilities and amenities are good, but the service was nonexistent. Staff seemed highly unprofessional, with little basic etiquette or understanding of hospitality. Everything was slow, and requests were met with indifference or incompetence. It’s a shame to see the hotel’s potential undermined by poor management and untrained staff. I won't return to this failing establishment. Room: 907. This was an extremely disappointing stay, and I have never left a negative hotel review before. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was in very poor condition. It also had a suffocating cigarette smell. I have allergies and rely on a rescue inhaler, and I couldn't breathe or sleep. I explained my medical condition at reception, but the staff refused to move me and showed no empathy or professionalism. The Saudi employee at the front desk was particularly rude and disrespectful, unlike the wonderful hospitality I have experienced elsewhere in Saudi Arabia. I tried calling reception several times and nobody answered. This is the first and last time I'll stay here, and I don't recommend the place at all.

The rooms have plenty of space and are well equipped, with an iron, safe, and mini-fridge. There are pools, a gym, and free parking, and the calm, attractive setting is great for relaxing. Staff are so friendly and welcoming that I feel at home as soon as I arrive. I keep coming back to this hotel as my first choice in Jeddah. My only small complaint is that the beds in split-bed rooms are a bit small, though still comfortable. Otherwise, it's top-notch, and I'll be back.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a big choice of Western and local dishes and good day-to-day variety during my 4 nights in early January 2026. Lujain Saghi at the buffet was always cheerful and very helpful, and made breakfast feel extra nice. The hotel and rooms were clean, the staff helpful and service-minded, and their English was generally okay. For a mid-range or budget hotel, this was one of the better ones I've stayed in lately. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms I've seen, almost like a proper fitness center. I didn't use the pool, but it didn't look inviting, and it was too cold to swim anyway. The location won't suit everyone, since popular parts of Jeddah are a long walk away and you'll need a taxi or Uber. If the price is right next time I'm in Jeddah, I'd consider staying here again.

Mehteb was kind enough to help me take a photo in the restaurant, and his attention and smile made it a lovely moment. The entire restaurant team, including supervisor Joana and the kitchen staff, brought great energy and stayed organized and professional. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Housekeeping also deserves credit: every area I saw was spotless, and every staff member I met was polite and courteous. The care across the hotel makes for a welcoming atmosphere. Well done to everyone at the Ibis Jeddah City Center. I really appreciated the service during my stay.
