The room was clean and comfortable, and room service responded quickly. Check-out was fast too. I liked the contemporary room design, and being 500 meters from the city centre made for quiet, restful surroundings. Great location and an excellent stay. It would be great if they had covered parking.

The shower had hot water and plenty of it, and the air conditioning worked. But the water barely drained and stayed on the floor, leaving the toilet wet, though we’re used to that. The kitchen was small and had no plates, cutlery, cups, or anything for making tea or cooking. There was no tea, coffee, water, milk, or sugar in the room either. We had to ask for towels because none were provided. There was no toilet paper, but that was okay. There was mold on the door. They moved furniture in the evening and again in the morning. The Egyptian guy at the desk couldn’t speak any English and kept talking to other people while we waited. It felt like he was trying to show he was a tough man. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Rooms with good WiFi seem to have other issues, and the rooms that are fine otherwise have poor WiFi. Some rooms get excellent signals, while others get really bad ones. The management needs to check room cleanliness, make sure showers and other utilities work, and sort out the pathetic water pressure on the fourth floor.

The blocked toilet drain and disappointing facilities were a letdown after I used Google Maps to find somewhere to rest after a long international flight. We decided to put up with it for the time being, but then the female receptionist acted like Lord and Master over a simple matter that could have been handled professionally. The customer service is terribly poor. I definitely won’t come back. Please work on it.
