Rixos Murjana - Ultra All Inclusive

The resort itself is amazing and clean, but I can’t recommend booking through the ALL-Accor app. I had trouble getting help with a reservation and called several times over a week, then emailed, but still got no timely response. With that kind of communication, I’d use a third-party agency or another platform so support is available if something goes wrong.

We had a luxurious, memorable family break at a beautiful, quiet resort with a great location for getting away. The price was high, but we genuinely enjoyed our stay. A few things could be improved, though. The internet needs work, the maintenance door on the side villa should stay closed for privacy and there should be a shield to cover it, and the floating villas being built slightly interrupted the sunset view from the otherwise clean, pleasant beach on the Club Prive side. The private pool villa with the all-inclusive Club Prive experience was clean, well maintained, comfortable, and equipped with what we needed for a family holiday. The water park was fantastic and brought our family so much joy. Imret, our guest assistant, made a big difference. From before we arrived until we left, he was caring, professional, responsive, and always following up to make sure things went smoothly. At Terra Mare, the buffet had lots of choices and we enjoyed the food. Thanks to the two Abdullahs for being kind, polite, and warm. One time, service fell short of what you’d expect at a place of this level, and more attentiveness from some waitstaff during busy periods would help. The Club House was another highlight, with warm, elegant service from Beauty, Benjamin Mohammed. Specialty coffee there would be a nice addition, rather than having only coffee machines.

A lovely place for a peaceful family break, with a relaxing feel, pretty surroundings, and plenty for families to do. The rooms were comfortable and the staff welcoming. Great service, too, and a perfect way to get away from the city and spend quality time together.

I’d be glad to visit again, God willing. The atmosphere and the overall stay were lovely, and I’m sharing a few things because Guest Relations kindly asked for feedback and I promised I would. At several points, including at the restaurant reception, staff didn’t speak Arabic. I wanted to ask about the restaurant, and because of the language barrier I didn’t understand that it was included in my stay until the last day, when I checked with the main reception. Something similar happened at another restaurant reception. I was surprised that some guest-facing staff in an Arab country couldn’t speak Arabic, especially since I was excited to try a resort in my own city. At Solar Restaurant, one staff member also made an unusual joke when I asked about drinks, asking whether I preferred “halal or haram” drinks. I realize it may have been meant as a joke, but I didn’t think it was appropriate in that setting. Even so, I enjoyed the place and would happily return.
