I’ve never had service this bad. The rooms are cramped, and help is slow and poor. Reception was empty every time, and nobody answered no matter how often I called. The owners seem careless about service, and nobody appears to care whether guests are satisfied. The room intercoms didn’t work either. There was no light outside the bedroom, just sensor lighting that was in bad condition. It felt like an ancient cave, not a luxury hotel. There was no food or tea to order, and most food delivery drivers wouldn’t come to this area, which made it miserable to manage. I’d never recommend staying here. Very disappointed.

The last 10 days of Ramadan were wonderful, and the whole crew made me feel at home. Khalid, Mohammed and everyone were welcoming and ready to help, from exchanging currency to showing me around. They even helped with my daughter Hina experience. I made new friends, and iftar felt like a family fiesta. The Eid celebration with an Arabian-style dinner was awesome. I’ll always come back and think of this as my second home.

There’s no designated parking, though plenty of street parking is available. The hotel is also within walking distance of the main road, where cabs and taxis are easy to find. The staff were polite, caring, and helpful with requests. There are lots of rooms, and they’ve even made small bedrooms out of corner storage rooms. It’s a hidden gem among the many places to stay in Makkah.

The people running 7th Square Hotel at aziziyah are amazing, and the place is one of the cleanest and best around. If you’re in Makkah, I’d recommend it. Ask for Khaled, he’s honest and one of the best people I’ve met. 10/10 👌👌
