The food had plenty of variety, and the chef deserves thanks for serving it so deliciously. Everything was cooked just right, not hard or overdone. Nasir and Omar Jefri at reception were especially helpful. I forgot to ask someone to bring my suitcase down, but when I came back from lunch and asked, it was already in the lobby. Room service and laundry were excellent too. Special thanks to Mr Ali Gillani, Mr Waseem and the team for being so helpful. If you’re coming for Umrah or Hajj, this is a good place to stay.

I only arrived last night, so it’s a bit early for a detailed review. My room was ready on time and very clean. Breakfast is mostly Arabic and Turkish food, though there could be more kinds of cheese. Mohammad shardat served me at my table. He set it up quickly and thoughtfully offered me some fresh fruit. I was really happy with his service, thank you!

The hotel is close to the Haram, especially the Umrah and safa and marwa exit gates. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well kept. Some are a little old, but still okay. Staff are incredibly kind and quick to help. The concierge was great with our bags, even when we had to move to another hotel. The elevators came quickly, and it was calm and quiet. We enjoyed the room service spaghetti and club sandwich. Breakfast had lots of choices, but not everything tasted good. The entrance is through the safwa towers, which share a sort of mall that feels like a hectic local market. You have to go up four escalators to reach reception and the rooms. We’re used to Fairmont and Grand Hyatt, but we’d still repeat this stay.

We stayed from 25th to 31st Jan 2026 for Umrah and booked connecting rooms. They were cozy and comfortable, and the frontline staff were lovely, very courteous and spoke a little Bahasa Melayu. Masyaallah, the food spread had so many choices from different cuisines. We kept going back to the desserts, especially the best kunafa in the entire world. Breakfast pastries were plentiful, and all the food looked tempting and tasted delicious. Masoud, if I got his name right, was an attentive and efficient waiter. Too bad we were focused on our ibadah and didn’t get to enjoy everything. A great stay, and we’ll definitely come back, InsyaAllah. Keep it up AGS!

I booked more than six months ahead and chose the rooms I wanted, but at check-in they weren’t available and we got whatever rooms happened to be open. For what they charge, the breakfast and lunch aren’t worth it. Breakfast was cheap food and served cold. The hotel is crowded, with a very busy escalator to Haram Masjid, and the surroundings don’t feel pleasant compared with a 5 star hotel. It may be considered 5 star, but the surroundings make it look like a 2 star hotel. The stay is way overpriced, and I won’t stay here again.
