There are all kinds of food restaurants nearby, which was handy for our family, and it felt like everything we needed was easy to reach. The staff were polite, cooperative, and professional the whole time. Our room was well kept and the hotel was neat and clean, with good facilities. We had a comfortable, satisfying stay at grand al shabaa Hotel Makkah. I'd recommend it to families and people visiting for Umrah.

The manager was kind and friendly, and I liked the price, the nearby shopping centre, and being close to the train station. But the hotel service wasn't so good. The shower is awkwardly positioned by the toilet, and after some showers the water can turn cold. There's no shampoo for guests and no meals available. Wi-Fi was very poor, especially on the top two floors, and it's far from Al KAABA.
