Knooz Al Diafah Hotel

Our check-in took over an hour because communication was poor. The room was extremely small, packed with three beds, and had no room for our luggage. It also didn't look like the pictures online. We asked several times for a room change and even offered to pay extra, but they never moved us. We ended up leaving and booking another hotel, losing the cost of three unused nights, and they refused a refund. I booked four nights for three people while travelling for Umrah. A very disappointing stay. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially to families or international travellers.

The staff said there were no rooms available and refused a refund, so I had to leave with my family and book another hotel. We lost the money for three unused nights. This was a disappointing stay from January 7-11, 2026, booked for three people, my mother, my wife, and me, while we were travelling from the USA for Umrah. Check-in took over an hour because of serious communication problems. The staff couldn't communicate properly in English, Urdu, or Hindi. The receptionist took my iPhone to check the booking details, dropped it, and cracked the screen. Then I was asked to pay 10 SAR for the damage, which felt extremely unprofessional. The room was far too small, with three beds crammed into a space clearly meant for one person. There was no room for our three suitcases, and the room looked nothing like the photos online. There weren't any charging ports either, which is unacceptable for modern travellers. I politely asked to change rooms and was told it would happen the next day. Later they asked for 80 SAR for the change. I agreed, but despite following up several times over two days, they never changed the room. Poor management, misleading room information, no professionalism, and no customer care. I strongly advise families and international travellers to avoid this place.

It's a 30-minute walk to haram, and even if you're willing to pay more, taxis from haram aren't available. There was no hot water. If you're coming, bring three shoe to charge Mobil.

For Omraa, the hotel is okay, not bad. It's a little near haram, and there’s everything around it.
