The food was bad enough that it could make you sick. Our whole group would rather have stayed an extra day in Mina than come back, and some of us tried to find other hotels and pay ourselves. I tried to like this place, but I can't recommend it. This kind of hotel shouldn't exist in 2026. During the Mina days of Hajj, nobody serviced our room while we were away. We got no fresh towels or water bottles. The rooms are tiny, old, and poorly maintained, and the bathroom is especially cramped and easy to slip in. The lifts get packed around lunch, dinner, and prayer times in the musala. Sleeping was incredibly hard too. The windows are paper thin with no soundproofing, so the traffic during Hajj meant hearing every bus and car horn.
