Maather Al Jiwaar Hotel

After long days of ibadah and tawaf, I needed somewhere to rest, but staying here added stress and discomfort instead of giving me a peaceful break. The hotel was extremely dirty, and the rooms were unbelievably small. The bathrooms were so cramped that even a slim person could barely move or shower comfortably. Hot water wasn't proper, and the facilities seemed badly maintained. The tiny elevators were inadequate for the number of guests, so there were long waits and crowding. It felt like the hotel worked with tour operators to attract guests with appealing offers, but the service on arrival didn't match what was promised. By far one of my worst hotel experiences near the Haram. I'd strongly advise future visitors to avoid it and find a more reliable option nearby.

The rooms are clean and spacious, and the washrooms are good. Room service was better, and I had a good experience overall, though this is a three-star hotel. The hotel is about 300-400 m from kabutar chowk and around 750 m to 1 km from Masjid Al haram. It has 18 floors, but the lifts are very small, with room for only 4-5 people.

For two days I had to sit in low light because they couldn't replace a tube light promptly after I complained. They said they had no stock, and wanted me to stay in the room from 9 in the morning until 9 at night while they fixed it. Very poor hospitality and a terrible experience.

There were five beds crammed into a tiny room, leaving almost no room to walk or put our luggage. I also found hundreds of cockroaches. Indians planning to come for umrah should check carefully before booking here. I wouldn't advise staying in this hotel.
