Majd Al Mohagerin Hotel in Mecca is an affordable, basic place to stay, especially for pilgrims and groups who want to be near Masjid al-Haram. It’s around a 10 to 20-minute walk to the Grand Mosque, in the Ajyad district, near Masjid Al Hijrah and the Abraj Al-Bait Towers. The hotel has 22 rooms with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries, and private bathrooms with showers. Some guests report mixed experiences with cleanliness and upkeep, and say rooms or furniture feel outdated and need repairs. Staff are appreciated for trying to help, though service can be inconsistent. It’s a functional, no-frills option for people who care more about location and price than luxury.

The location is very good, close to gate no 79 of masjid Al Haram. Pakistani hotels are on the adjacent lane, so food is easy to find, and there are nearby grocery, barber, and gifting articles shops. Taxis are easy to get. The hotel staff and cleaning staff were good, but I had a very bad experience with the receptionist (lady). Even with my confirmed booking, she kept my family waiting because she said our room had already been allotted to the GROUP that came through an agent. In the end, she gave us a smaller room with fewer beds than we had booked. Worst experience with that receptionist (lady).

The room service only came to clean after 3 days, and there wasn’t any soap or shampoo. This is the most useless hotel.
